Winston-Salem, NC - The Demon Deacons unofficially opened their 2009-2010 season with a dominating win over the Indiana University of Pennsylvania 88-57.

Al-Farouq Aminu led the Deacs with a total of 24 points on the game.

Ish Smith, who's returning this season as the starting point guard for Wake Forest, scored just five points, but had eight assists on the night.

Chase McFarland had 17 points in his 18 minutes of play.

Thomas Young led the Crimson Hawks with 21 points.
